PDF export is not working

Aura and Karma are designed to be fully compatible with Confluence’s native PDF exporter. However, it’s important to note that the PDF export functionality is entirely managed by Atlassian. As a vendor, we do not have control over this feature, and any issues encountered during PDF export are related to Atlassian’s management of this function.

Known Issues

If you encounter problems while exporting PDFs, such as receiving blank PDFs, these issues are caused by Atlassian’s PDF exporter. For assistance, please reach out to Atlassian Support directly at Atlassian Support.

Here are some known issues with Atlassian’s PDF exporter that have been publicly documented:

• The first page of the PDF export is blank.

• PDF sections are cut off and split across multiple pages.

K15T’s Scroll PDF Exporter

It’s important to note that Aura is not compatible with K15T’s app Scroll PDF Exporter. Due to the lack of suitable APIs for our architecture, we do not plan on adding compatibility for this app.

Summary

While Aura and Karma generally work well with Confluence’s native PDF exporter, any issues with PDF export functionality are managed by Atlassian. For any problems encountered, please contact Atlassian Support. Additionally, Aura is not compatible with the Scroll PDF Exporter by K15T, and there are no plans to support it.
