What are the differences between Aura Data Center & Aura Cloud?

Atlassian offers two distinct hosting options for operating Confluence: Data Center and Cloud. Data Center deployment is managed entirely by the customer, typically behind their firewall. On the other hand, the Cloud variant is fully operated by Atlassian.

It's crucial to recognize that Confluence Cloud and Confluence Data Center are fundamentally different products, despite sharing a similar name. This differentiation extends to the extensions (apps) available in the marketplace. It's essential to understand that a Data Center app is not the same product as its Cloud counterpart.
