Public Links - Macros don't show up

Confluence currently does not support third-party macros in public links. According to Confluence documentation, visitors to a public page cannot:

  • Edit or comment on pages

  • View inline or page comments

  • See Confluence navigation, page tree, or breadcrumbs

  • View most macros, especially those that involve data from outside the shared page and all third-party macros

For further details, you can consult the official Confluence documentation here: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/how-secure-are-public-links/#What-is-hidden-from-visitors-to-public-pages

Atlassian's product managers have acknowledged this limitation and are planning to support third-party macros in future updates. In the meantime, enabling anonymous access within a space could serve as an alternative for broader content visibility.
