Aura Embed (Cloud)

The Aura Embed macro allows you to embed specific tools as iframes into your Confluence page. The following tools are currently supported:

Collaboration

  • Miro

  • Figma (incl. FigJam)

  • Loom

Google Apps

  • Google Docs

  • Google Sheets

  • Google Slides

  • Google Forms

Microsoft Office 365

  • Microsoft Word 365

  • Microsoft Excel 365

  • Microsoft PowerPoint 365

Please follow these steps to insert an Aura - Embed macro on a Confluence Page:

  • Go to the Confluence page you wish to edit

  • Click on the Edit button of the Confluence page or press "E"

  • In the page editor click on the + button (Insert), and select View more

  • Select the Aura - Embed macro from the provided list and the configuration dialog appears

  • Configure the Aura - Embed as needed and hit the save button of the macro

 

 

 

The configuration dialog helps users to embed the tool that suits their needs, and the live preview on the right side shows the result in realtime.

After the configuration is done, click Save, and Aura Embed will be visible on your Confluence page. Clicking on Close will abort the configuration and the inserting of the macro.

Type

Choose one of the supported tools

Height

Enter the desired height in pixel

Width

Enter the width in pixel or percent

Alignment

Choose how to align the content within the macro

URL

Paste the URL of the desired tool in this field.

Tutorial

For each tool that you can choose from in the Type dropdown, a tutorial explains on how to get the URL that is needed to embed the tool.

 

 

Please follow these steps to edit or remove the Aura macro on a Confluence Page:

  • Go to the Confluence page you wish to edit

  • Click on the Edit button of the Confluence page or press E

  • Click on the Aura macro you wish to edit or remove

  • A small dialog with the options Edit and Remove appears

  • Click on the desired action
