Getting started

As a Confluence Administrator please go to Settings → Aura →Macro Templates.
You can view the templates of the supported Aura macros via the tabs ‘Panel’, ‘Tab Group' and ‘Status’.

Categories

A category contains templates and provides structure and a better overview for the user.
Categories can be added, deleted, renamed and sorted using drag and drop. You can create up to 8 categories and they can each contain up to 8 templates (see indicator next to the bin icon).

Deleting all categories will restore the original state that Aura provides.

Add Categories

To create a category click on the 'Add Category' button below your last category. Once you have created 8 categories, the button 'Add Category' will disappear until you delete a category and the amount is less than 8 categories.

Delete Categories

To delete a category, click on the bin icon at the top right of the respective category.

Rename Categories

To rename a category, click on the category name and confirm your entry by clicking on the check mark icon.

Sort Categories

You can reorder all categories via drag and drop using the 6 dots button.

Templates

A template helps users to create beautiful content which also conforms to corporate identity in no time.
Templates can be added, edited, deleted, sorted and moved. You can create up to 8 templates per category (see indicator next to the bin icon).

Delete Templates

Hover above a template and click the delete button (bin icon).

Sort Templates

You can reorder all templates inside a category via drag and drop. Hover above a template and use the 6 dots button.

Move Templates to other Categories

This is possible with a simple trick. Create a new template in the desired category and then select the template to be moved from the list in the respective macro editor. Save it and then delete the initial template from the other category.
