Aura Status (Cloud)

The Aura Status macro allows you to add statuses (or any other type of label) to your page that users can change instantly in the page view mode by choosing from predefined options like a select list.

In our example we use it for status, priority, t-shirt size, a value between 1-10, star rating (1-5 stars), confidence vote, score, traffic light & department.

As you can probably imagine, the possibilities are endless and it's up to you how you want to use the macro.

Here are some awesome side features:

  • Changes in view mode are versioned

  • The Aura Status macro can be exported as PDF (emojis are not supported)

  • Editing in view mode is also supported in the Page Properties Report

  • Worth mentioning: only users with the edit permission can edit the Aura Status macro in page view mode of course

Templates

Ready-made templates for different use cases support and inspire the user. Select a template to either use it directly or to use it as a starting point and make adjustments. The selection of a template overwrites all settings made.

Disable editing for users (company managed status sets)

Once a status set is locked, users can only select from the available statuses in this set and cannot edit them. This keeps data consistent for specific use cases. A gray lock icon at the bottom right in a status template indicates a locked status set.
